December 4, 20196 yr About 10cm maybe 15cm max.. Cute little thing... Anyone got an idea what species ??
December 4, 20196 yr Small spotted coral snake (I think). Highly venomous but a mouth small enough its hard to get a bite on you unless you offered it a finger. I turned one up in leaf litter in my orchard once and read they often get found in gardens inside pots, trays or other containers.

Think it arrived at our place today in some pot plants from Koh Phangan !!
December 4, 20196 yr Yeah, I reckon it's a small spotted too. https://www.thailandsnakes.com/venomous/front-fanged/small-spotted-coral-snake-venomous-potentially-dangerous/ As Vern notes, he is a coral snake so is potentially dangerous. Lovely little creature if you are not a small animal. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Kill it and another will be along shortly so not sure why we don't let them exit-stage-left uneventfully. Peace.

I don't kill any snakes.. My missus will occasionally nail a cobra if it's by the house, otherwise it's catch and release ..
