Kasikorn bank card gets broken after 2 months

Featured Replies

I got my new kasikorn card around 2 months ago. I barely used it, perhaps 10-15 times in total: purchases, money withdrawals. I kept in a wallet *in a separate plastic cover*. More so, I tried to use it wirelessly in shops whenever it was supported.

I was using it outside of Thailand too. But one day, still outside of Thailand, it stops working. I try multiple shops and ATMs. No luck, as if the card got physically broken. The magnetic strip doesn't work either. The next day - the same.

The card won't get recognized by payment machines when paying in shops. And in ATMs.

I called the support of Kasikorn, they told me "your chip got broken".  *I don't know if they gussed that based on I told them or they really can see that that's the case*.  Return to Thailand and get a new card, again.

I have other cards that I've been using muuuuuuuch longer, they look more tired, older, the chips too. No problem.

The chip of the kasikorn card looks new. No liquid,  scratches.... no nothing it was exposed to.

How is that possible? It's not a card but a piece of sh ???? t!

2 months, barely using! Big joke.
