When he had to go back to Australia for a few months, he got one of his Thai staff to look after his house. He looked after the house very well, including selling the mains water to trucks selling water for Songkran festivities. Friend came back from Oz to find his water meter had been removed and a bill for over 20,000 Baht, instead of the usual 500 Baht.
