Of course immigration know where he is. That’s the whole point of having to report to immigration whenever a foreigner stays at your premises.

Don't be so naive. There are guesthouses and small hotels everywhere which never do any TM30 reports.

Amporn did not know of her husband's hotel or where he might be and there had been no contact at all since last week

Very strange, after coming to Thailand once or twice a year for a couple of decades she now knows nothing of his intentions after parting at the airport?

Why do they mention Bang Saray area in the article?  Why take him to Khao San Road if he's going south of Pattaya?

The whole report is very difficult to follow. They arrived at the airport together, she continued down south, he went to Khao San Road, a friend went to Kalasin but Bang Saray is also mentioned, etc. etc. It has all the makings of a good mystery. Can't wait for the movie to be released "Lost In Thailand".

All joking aside, I do hope he's okay. Either he's done a runner or had a beer too many and fallen into the river.

Or maybe she's ready to receive any life insurance policy he has listed her on as beneficiary.

I hope not but in Thailand we can never trust anyone - even after 25 years.

How old are you? Sounds like you have no experience in life. Let me fill you in. Relationships are always a gamble. You have no control over how a person may change, especially after you get older. You must have only had perfect relationships in your own country. To say “in Thailand” in your statement means you’re either extremely naive or you’re trying to bash Thailand like it’s the only place it could happen. Newsflash: Not being able to trust people happens everywhere. Not any more or less in Thailand.

Are you quite certain of that?

Can you prove or even support the claim that it happens no more or less in Thailand?

In other words, you are saying the percentages are exactly the same in every country. Are you sure?

..sorry but....

...too many holes in this 'story'...beginning with the big 5-day hole....

...a friend...no name...no identity....???

...Khaosan Road.....???      sounds too cliche.....

...a business and all types of assets ...???

...doesn't look good....

....and for some of you to give credence to her 'story'.....by suggesting it was his own doing...???

...no reason for him to disappear....a clean split from her would cost him 50% maximum...if that...

...what would be the alternative now...it would end up the same...

...except if he is dead....

Why did he go to Khao San Rd? Why mention Bang Saray which is south of Pattaya?

Hopefully he pops up on cctv somewhere and they track him down.

The story is very strange though. I hope it ends well but I'm skeptical

Mysterious disappearances are very common in Thailand.

I wonder why?

Perhaps something to do with young beautiful Thai ladies who just waiting for an old fart with a lot of cash to spend.

Especially after 25 years of marriage.

I hope they find the man, and that he is alright.

Regarding many other posts here, we must have a lot of posters cheating on their wifes. It takes one to know one.

Are you trying to convince the TV members that you never have had an affair?
