I am planning to bike to Laos by 250 cc bike from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang and possibly return via Vientiane with a pal.

Never been to Laos, so I hope to get some info and recommendations by fellow readers who have done something like that in the past.

How difficult is the motorbike import to Laos?
