Natl Park not registering for TM30

Featured Replies

Being proactive here.

The national park we routinely stay very, very doubtfully will register me. Of course I've no way of knowing.

So when I return I will just notify my landlord to file the TM30 regardless correct?

Thanks ????

If you have not been registered at another address, they do not actually know you have been away. Does the National Park take copies of your passport and TM6 card?

If a hotel, park and etc or a individual does not report your arrival there is no report needed when you return to your residence.

Thanks

They do jot down my number and ?? and it is entirely possible that they do register me. Copies no way. That would require electricity and maintenance.

I'm just not at all certain it happens. It might. The staff at the counter would never know, it would be down at mainland HQ.

Without copies and the sheer volume of campers holiday times I doubt they report. Where we camp there are few foreigners now but the other campground has loads.

It's absolutely no big deal to have my landlord report.

Tell them nothing just enjoy your day out.

They need more than your passport number to do the report. TM6 number, date of arrival, permit to stay dae and etc.

Not doubting you at all Joe, but only this week there was another topic about hotels accepting your pink ID card, it does not have the things you stated, so what about the posters who said they used their ID card when checking into a hotel out of their province?

Thanks Joe.

Not even understand this thread. Whenever I go places up country they don't even see my pp. Even upmarket hotels.  Places like koh Samed, Petchabun, etc etc. In any event as has been stated numerous times do a tm30 prior to attending imm office. My last annual extension CW Oct, they didn't even want my tm30. I realize many office different.

I went to a National Park last month wit a couple of friends.

One of the Thai wife paid all the bungalows rental nobody was asked for the ID.

But the Park collected 300 B from each foreigners and they were happy. Nor asked for ID to pay the fees, Ha Ha

So no need to reports back at our regular homes.  This way we feel like normal people not aliens.
