immigration app for 90 day reporting???

Featured Replies

can everyone use this app to report?

I assume yes if they can do them online. Not much difference between the 2.

But you do have to have a phone or tablet it will work on. I have a tablet with android 7 and the play store says it is not compatible for some unknown reason since it meets the requirement of 6 or above.

It just went pending..I used a Huawei tablet..I believe it is Android 8.1.

A was a little stuck on the visa date.  It obviously doesn't want the info about the original for 2014, because it wouldn't except it.  I just got a new extension last week for 2021, but I used my current extension...which expires in two weeks..but has already been extended..was that correct?

Your post has alerted me to the possibility of reporting 90 day on line, I normally report by post. I have downloaded the app and registered but have another week to go to earliest report time of 75 days.  It looks as though it may work for me apart from printing the receipt, I hope to be able to do that on a friends computer. If the report fails I will have missed the opportunity to post so will have to report on person which in my experience is a morning gone in travel and horrendous queues.
I am using an iPhone.

That is normal since you local office has to approve it after receiving the application. Some offices do it quickly while others can take several days. You should also get a email when it is approved or disapproved.

You should of used the date for your new extension but it should not make any difference for the approval.

Visa just means a stamp in your passport to a Thai so visa date is probably the date that you last entered the country and when the 90 day reporting count started.

There is a separate question about the date you entered..I used a reentry permit.  I did just refile using the date of last Thursday, when my new extension was granted, and the new expiration in 2021...which is more than a year, but the system accommodated that.  It remembered my address.  When did this app go live and start working?  I hadn't done one since June...no mention of it then in Nonthaburi.

I can’t answer the question but the fact that it does work is encouraging. Surely the computer system is countrywide.

I am surprised that the receipt needs to be kept in the passport. I carry only a copy of my passport except when going up country and have never been asked to produce it. One would think that the programme would assume that everyone was legal until they proved to be illegal, simple if computers are all that they are claimed to be.

Early this year if I recall correctly.

The online reporting has been available for over 4 and half years

Yes, it worked about 2/3 of the time in CM, and would take between two hours and never to approve..and then you would be out of the window for mail in, which also needed a follow up half the time.  When did that system allegedly go Nationwide?  They told me within the last year no online in Nonthaburi, but at TM30 in October they started talking computers.
