I'll throw in this cover of Rock and Roll Music from the movie Backbeat (1994) in memory of Astrid Kirchherr (RIP). Here she's played by Sheryl Lee.

 

 

Great stuff BigStar. The energy, the breaking out of the dreary post-war 50s. Stu Sutciffe giving her the eye there.

Astrid's photos were wonderful. Apparently John Lennon hated this rocker. i don't know why!
