TM 30 Srisaket

Featured Replies

Today Mrs Rasi and I dropped into Srisaket immigration office to declare my whereabouts and lodge an updated TM30 advice as I'd visited another province, stayed in another residence, (bungalow accommodation followed by sister in law's house), for a few days.... The bungalow staff advised wife and myself that they're required by law to lodge another TM 30 for my stay, so we decided to go and waste a half hour in Srisaket just to be safe.????

Srisaket boss, who obviously remembered us from 2 weeks ago after we returned to Thailand from abroad, says the TM30 is NOT required by their office as I'd not "been to another country since last advice". Laos, Cambodia and home country were referred to as examples.

Heads up to any other aliens in the area that were perhaps unsure of 'local' requirements and apologies if this topic has been covered in previous Srisaket /TM 30 discussion.

Happy new year.

Yes, your office is doing it as told and instructed by the immigration boss. Just sad that all other offices are still let alone to do as they wish.

Same at Sakon Nakhon immigration, only report when you have returned home from another country.

OP, thanks for report your experience. I did most recent extension CW Oct last year. Did one tm30 after my last reentry just prior to attending imm.

It was not required. Which of course means zip. Another io may have wanted one.
