Looking for a Vendor Manager

Responsibilities

• Familiar with USA contracts format and legal requirements 

• Utilize documented requirements to research potential vendors and sources to utilize as contract vehicles; send RFI/RFPs to potential US-based/international vendors, produce internal report to summarize findings

• Creation and execution of the statement of work for each selected vendor; Develop and monitor vendor performance review process

• Owns vendor management and governance process; track deliverables, ensure that the services are meeting enterprise needs

• Enact improvement plans to manage disputes and other escalations

• Serve as liaison between development, operations, and product teams to ensure success of vendor solutions

• Additional roles and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Experience working with technical stakeholders

• Well-versed in contracts, negotiations, and US legal framework

• At least 5 years experience with vendor, contract, or procurement management

• Excellent communication skills

• Highly organized

• Able to wear many hats

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Able to document requirements for IT needs as necessary

• Able to work with little supervision

• Ability to work effectively with international teams

Nice to have:

• Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM), or other relevant certification such as CTPE / CTPS

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or other Business Degree
