Wood screws

Hi all ????  Any of you DIYers know if Torx head or square head wood screws are available here in LOS ? I've tried Lazada without luck. I'm constantly having problems with the normal Phillips head screws.

Have seen them in HomePro outlets here.

Don't know what quality screws you are using but you can use a JIS screwdriver on Philips screws but not the other-way around.

What is your application and why are pozi head screws unsuitable.

 

I have only ever seen torx head screws in use in stainless type furniture but like everyone in the world we all have a socket set to fit our drills with a dozen of the square and star splines wondering in whos lifetime are they ever going to be used

Really! The square drive pocket hole screws are not hard to find. Though most of my Torx head screws are a personal import from the UK you can buy them from Häfele here. I haven’t seen Torx wood screws in any shops yet.

 

Pozi head screws are usually not available just Frips.
