"Any time the market surpasses a nice round number, it has a positive effect on investor psychology," said Chris Zaccarelli, chief investment officer of the Independent Advisor Alliance. "On the other hand, the larger the index gets, the easier it is to surpass 1,000 points as the percentage increase required to pass the milestone keeps decreasing."

Is US market in a bubble? The broad market valuation seems to be inline with historic average.

Kudos to the Democrats for creating a team-like working relationship with the Trump administration to put people back to work and beef up their retirement accounts.

Don't be concerned about the impeachment diversion...it is to draw attention away from the inability of the Dems to field a viable Presidential candidate.

Rumors floating around DC is that a Biden/Biden ticket is in the works...the 1st ever father/son candidates...their success in the Ukraine made the combo possible.

Maybe show the rest of Fridays trading where the dow hit a low of 28795 and ended 130 points down. Not to mention the dow futures is currently down another 150 points.

Excellent observation.  A data point of one day is the best way to measure trends.  :giggle:
