Sawang Boriboon rescue services were called to the 7th floor fire escape of a hotel in Central Pattaya after staff found a man in a pool of blood.

Serge Tudor had rib and knee injuries and was worse the wear for drink.

Some empty alcohol bottles were found above where he had fallen and staff said he was returning to his room at 5.30 am.

The injured man - a US national - was taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

The incident happened on the beach road, Soi 8.

Yet another drunken tourist that can´t take care of himself. Why in the whole wide world, can´t they just stay home, drink and try their best to kill themself in their home country. People with such severe alcohol problems should automatically be banned from travelling. It´s easy! Just revoke their passports and force them to sign in to a detox clinic.

Don’t know where you drink but all I hear in Pattaya is how the spirits are watered own or half shots lol

The attendant on the left and third from the left seem to have found something worth staring at.

Of course he has rib and knee injuries. They all weigh 300 pounds.

Serious or not serious? When did I mention the level of seriousness? it´s totally irrelevant.

What I am talking about is the stupidity of drinking so much that a person can´t handle himself. Obviously mostly foreign males in the news for this kind of level of stupidity.

I believe it´s quite important to be able to handle yourself and your threshold regarding intake of alcohol in a foreign country as well as in ones home country.

These stupid neanderthals is one of the reason more and more Thais are laughing and talking about you behind your back. Oh, look! There goes another stupid foreigner that soon gonna do something stupid or make a fool out of himself.

Of course he will not be covered by travel insurance, due to alcohol being involved.

Might have been an attempted suicide.

Meanwhile in other news, a mans shoelace came undone when walking!

That looks like a bottle of vodka in her purse. Must of been sitting on the fire escape drinking?

Unfortunately the immigration does not know if someone

has a drinking problem.

Or possibly someone depressed.

40 million tourists (arrivals), 60 million Thais. This makes the news?

When did I say they need to know that. I was calling for the knowlegde of their home country.

Easy to get drunk at home.  Not so easy to get laid.  If it were, Thailand's tourist industry would wither and die.  Keeping out people with a drinking problem would pretty much cripple the tourist industry.  Which may not be a bad thing for the country.

Definition of insanity: doing the same thing, expecting a different result.  Well, if he cannot stop drinking then keep it up...
