Special web fare (issue date April 5, 2007)

Fly to various destinations with exclusive price

Bangkok to:

Fukuoka from THB 7,500

Hiroshima from THB 7,500

Ho Chi Minh from THB 2,500

Jinghong from THB 3,500

Luang Prabang from THB 4,000

Maldives from THB 7,500

Pakse from THB 3,000

Phnom Penh from THB 2,500

Phuket from THB 1,900

Samui from THB 2,000

Shenzhen from THB 3,500

Trat from THB 1,900

Xian from THB 5,600

Yangon from THB 2,500

Note: All prices are for a one-way fare; return is double the price

Conditions:Ticket is valid for 1 month validity.

Valid for booking made on www.bangkokair.com only

Booking period: 24 March to 31 May 2007 (payment is required after confirmation)

Blackout period: 12 April to 17 April 2007

This promotion is valid for adult ticket only.

Note they don't include Siem Reap, for which they have exclusive rights for a few more years (though they do include Samui), and additional taxes and surcharges can be significant.

It's still on their route-map, but not on the Special Web Fare, if that's what you mean ?

Yep. I guess there is no need for Bkk Air to discount their BKK-SiemReap route as they have exclusive use of that route, and have no problem filling seats at around 11,500 baht RT.

Geez, I noticed Siem Reap is missing from the list before I comprehended which cities are on it.

Samui is there too, but "from 2000B". If you dig deeper, you will find the lowest price is for 7am flights on Thursdays and similar tricks, that price has always been available for inconvenient flight times.

Hiroshima 7500B, 15K return. You can get that price from the airlines who have been flying long flights for decades. From Hiroshima, ANA, JAL, Singapore Airlines go to BKK at that price every day.

Marketing fluff with no real offer in it, IMO.
