"Big Guy" suspect runs off in handcuffs - but ends up in the right place, a hospital!

Members of the public called the Chonburi police after they saw a man running in the street in pink trousers and handcuffs near the Bowling Intersection. 

 

Officers were soon in hot pursuit down a soi as the man continued to flee through several buildings. 

 

He ended up shocking patients and families visiting by running through Chonburi Hospital with 10 police on his tail. 

 

Here it all came to an end as he jumped from the second floor to the first and cracked his head open. 

 

Doctors were on hand to look after him - under police guard naturally.

 

The red faced Chonburi police said that he was a man just arrested for theft. 

 

They said he was a big guy who pushed his way past officers and ran off. 

 

Resisting arrest will be added to the rap sheet.

Why didn't they shoot out a shoe, the way they shoot out a tyre?  ????

How many police  officers did he push past?  The police are obviously unused to confronting criminals preferring to concentrate on students on motor bikes 'cos they are smaller.

Thai Police in general are quite small and inept at stopping anyone. Can just imagine 10 of them running Keystone cop style after big pink trouser dude complete with Benny Hill music playing.
