it seems that Kanchanaburi Myanmar border Phu Nam Ron will soon fully open, with casino and hotels.

 

they spent a lot there, so do they plan to make it the main land border with Myanmar ?

 

The new facilities are huge, bigger than any other border that i have seen.

 

It should be open within few months maximum, certainly less than 3 months.

Like the border crossing from Mai Sai (Chiang Rai Province) into Tachilek (Burma) where there are at least 5 casinos that have been there for many years.

Border crossings into Cambodia have casinos as soon as you cross into the country so why should Myanmar be different? I know of one border crossing in Buriram, that can only be used by Thais and Cambodians, where there is a big resort and casino on the Cambodian side. There is no town, let alone a city anywhere near this border crossing.
