Do the foreign press report things like this and stupid pointing during crime re-enactments, loads of Immigration officers assisted by other organisations nicking an old lady for some not so heinous crime, householders being nicked for not reporting they have foreigners staying in their home, condo, apartment whatever. If they don't then Thailand isn't such a joke...who would know if it's not reported? Really such occurrences, I guess, are as interesting to the Western press as what I had for breakfast. The Generals want more European houses and investments. The average Thai just wants a safe and content life. The "plague" is not going away.
