Me too. It's the exact moment in time the wheels came off and the bottom fell out for the dems. Maybe they can rip up some more papers this afternoon when the acquittal takes place. 

 

But yeah it was a fun moment. It must be the pleasure of temporary relief a child gets when it stamps it's feet during a tantrum. However once the tantrum wears off the realization of two term Trump** sets in.

The office of the presidency does deserve respect but the current occupant of it deserves none at all. He has degraded it massively. I get the 45 cult of personality gloating thing. Let them enjoy. Democrats being clear about what they are dealing with and the existential threat to democracy of a 2nd term for 45 is good to motivate the democratic base. We don't want our house leader to sit timidly in the face of such a campaign rally full of lies SOTU.

Have you seen the videos of 45's neurological breakdowns that have recently accelerated, kind of like a slipped vinyl record? He's the one running for reelection for president, not Nancy Pelosi. BTW -- I think Nancy Pelosi is totally in control of herself.

Yes, and if it's anyone but him, at least that part of it will be guaranteed. Of course he will be very difficult to overcome. He's not so much fighting for a second term as he's fighting to stay out of prison. So he will literally do anything to stay in power. Also now he's completely unrestrained, he knows he can get away with anything.
