MCOT continued to report on the latest developments in Thailand regarding the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

They said that an investigation is underway to determine where an infected South Korean person who visited Thailand before returning home had picked up the virus.

The movements of others between Thailand and Japan are also being investigated.

Free face masks were handed out yesterday evening by the Bangkok Metropolitan Association at several BTS/MRT stations including Asoke, Lat Prao, Saladaeng and Siam.

Cleaning was taking place on the campus of Sathit Kaset Withaya school in Kamphaengsaen district of Nakhon Pathom.

A Muay Thai trainer in Buriram was cleared of having the virus. He just had regular 'flu.

Health minister Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed that Thailand still had 25 known cases - nine of which had been cleared up and 16 people were still being treated.
