Young people don't have work in Thailand, and they have seen the success of the movement in Hong Kong. Hong Kong and Thailand's youth have similar problems.

Problem is there aren't enough young people. As the current ones age, they will get sucked right into the corrupt black hole that Thailand is. The ones that manage to escape to the west aren't coming back.

It was, and maybe again, China, Hong Kong,. Japan and Malaysia are good for Thais too. They do not have to go far, just out of Thailand, and their opportunities increase.
phantomfiddler
When the military took over, in a totally blatant and successful attempt to oust the thaksin regime forever, I was all for it, but now am having severe reservations as to where this is all going. Presently Thailand is starting to resemble a police state, with one ridiculous law after another, total hostility towards the European expat community, not to mention the escalating level of corruption in all areas. The future of Thailand does not look bright, and they have only themselves to blame ????
