Sony's universe of Marvel characters is expanding with the upcoming Morbius and its surprise MCU crossover, but there could be something even bigger on the horizon.

 

The first trailer for Morbius featured the unexpected appearance of Vulture with Michael Keaton reprising his Spider-Man: Homecoming role.

 

That had fans excited again for the possibility of a long-mooted Sinister Six movie.

 

And those dreams could be a step closer to happening as Sony has confirmed the release of an "Untitled Sony/Marvel" movie on October 8, 2021.
