App-based ride, courier and food delivery service Get is ready for its next business phase in an online market that’s forecast to grow by 31 per cent this year.

The Get food application was downloaded more than two million times in its first year and the number of drivers quadrupled to 40,000.

The company plans to improve the application this year and introduce new services and innovations.

It will also promote restaurants that are small and medium-sized enterprises, which represent 80 per cent of the total restaurants listed on the platform. That share is targeted to rise to 90 per cent.

Entrepreneurs will be given help in managing their restaurants more effectively.
