webfact
Mahasarakham U has a facemask-making club By THE NATION Professors and students of Mahasarakham University’s Business School are producing protective facemasks for public distribution amid concerns about a scarcity. Associate Professor Naphaphorn Phonnikornkit, in charge of the programme at the northeastern school, said the masks will contain any mucus and saliva released in a sneeze or cough – and they’re reusable once washed. It was a voluntary, free-time endeavour for the professors and students, who assembled in Naphaphorn’s residence in a division of duties based on their individual skills. They even paid for the necessary materials themselves and brought sewing machines from home. Aspaltso
Plenty of "experts" are saying that only the infected need to be wearing facemasks during this coronascare. They go on to say that masks don't actually do any more of a job in stopping infections than just going out regularly without one.
