Hi,

It's been a few years since I obtained a Multi-O at Penang based on being father of Thai child, due to various circumstances and spending more time in home country.  I work rotational outside of Thailand and currently enter using 30-day exempts (extending these when needed) and I guess after reading some posts this isn't ideal if I intend to visit on a regular / rotational basis especially as I've used quite a few Non-exempts over the past year.

Generally I stay in Thailand for a maximum of 32-33days (while being out for the same time) at a time so on occasions i have to extend this at immigration to avoid overstay albeit for a few days.

I am not married to the mother (we have separated) but amicable etc.  I have gone through courts years ago to legitimize child as me being father so have the paperwork for this.

My question(s) are below if anyone can help clarify incase things have changed:

Documents required?:

1.  Passport / signed copy for me

2. Passport photos

3.  Child Birth Certificate - original and copy

4. Mothers ID Card - copy of - signed

5.  Court paper showing me as legal father

6.  house book for child (does this need to be signed and do I need the original?)

7.  400k in bank - Does this need to be seasoned or can I just put in 400k and get proof from bank statements when it is in?

Anything else I have missed would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

6. You will need to sign the copy of it. Original is not required.

7. It on needs to be in bank on the day you apply. It does not have to be in the bank any amount of time.

You can update your bank book before you start your trip to Penang and it will be accepted.
