Mass gatherings at Songkan 100% should be cancelled

Featured Replies

If it isnt then it will highlight how little disregard the Gov has for health of people in the country.(I know we already know that) But mass gatherings with water sprayed everywhere. It would be a certainty that Covid19 transmission would increase. Business and money really supersede anything else in this Country

Indeed, just like every other country in the world, not a lover of Songkran are you?

Why not leave it up to people to decide for themselves, with fear running rampant everywhere now do you think there will be a huge turnout for Songkran festivities?

Lost me, remind me off my agenda please? eh

All mass gatherings at Songkran will be cancelled, mark my words. I really couldn't be more certain about anything.

What the people do in smaller gatherings will probably be up to them. It won't change my life - I am a misery guts who always stays home anyway!

My interpretation of the announcement of no official organization of Songkran events will eventually see a declared ban on mass public activities.

Crowds dispersed by the use of  water cannons  perhaps ?

Already banned in KSR, KK and Bang Saeng, only idiots with a self interest will be letting them go ahead, full moon sex and drugs party also cancelled.

Suits me fine, I will be having a quiet traditional Songkran with family and friends in the village.

i suggest a designated area where they can re-live their childhood,

without endanger motorcyclists

All large Songkran gatherings should be canceled due to the virus situation, and also because of the drought problem. Makes sense.

But this is a week for general drinking and fighting which is part of a long tradition
