Money transfer with cash pickup

Featured Replies

Western Union, transferwise, Xoom.com etc which is best for money transfer without bank account in the country the money is sent to. I do have a Thai bank account, but currently in Vietnam and withdrawals with a Thai debit card result in a loss of around 7% od amount drawn. I don't have a Vietnamese account, so I need a cash pickup :western union offers this service but is expensive (so I was told, never used it myself) How about transferwise, PayPal (xoom) or others , which is best/cheapest (no hidden charges /decent exchange rates) for this kind of service?

You can try to apply for a TransferWise Platinum Debit Mastercard.

Warmest.

used https://www.worldremit.com/ a few times last year when in Thailand to get cash from a virtual visa card, was cheap and fast compare to crappy western union.
