The Mall Bangkae department store has closed shops at risk of Covid-19 from March 6 to 8, for cleaning and sterilising, operator The Mall Group announced on Friday, after being visited by a Thai labourer who had just returned from South Korea.

On Thursday (March 5), a Thai labourer, who had returned recently from South Korea, a high-risk country for Covid-19, visited the department store and took photographs of herself in the shops and uploaded them on Facebook.

The department store took the safety measure after it was brought to its attention.

The Mall Bangkae has urged those who worked in the shops to quarantine themselves at home for 14 days.

i am getting a lot of LINE messages asking if they can hide at my house.

Now please calculate all the damages caused, issue phinoi with the bill, take away her passport and lock her up until it's settled.

Why not order ALL STAFF in ALL MALLS to wear mouthmasks, have handgel available, and cover ALL FOOD?

And i 've no idea what to do with the open markets.....????

Once again, this one will say, "but I was told I did not need to quarantine myself for 14 days.  I am not a tourist, I live here, The ministers said it was not compulsory.", I needed to shop and enjoy myself.....

I thought the virus didn’t live long on inanimate objects

What is the expected life on a surface

maybe COOK your food

They should disinfect them every time a Thai steps in. Number one susceptible air travel route for the virus outside China.
