Muang Thong Thani: Woman fleeing arrest for acid attack jumps 14 floors and lives - lands on 7-Eleven staffer

Thai media reported that a 30 year old woman, about to be served a warrant for the attempted murder of her sister, jumped from a 14th floor window of a block in the Muang Thong Thani housing estate in Nonthaburi north west of Bangkok. 

 

There was lots of blood outside a fruit shop and a torn awning. 

 

But Thanaporn Wongdeuan had survived the fall with serious head injuries and a broken leg. She was rushed to Chollaprathan Hospital. 

 

Pak Kret police discovered that the victim was being served a warrant by the Rom Klao police. They knocked at room 14/52 on the 14th floor of Building C5.

 

Thanaporn decided to jump instead of face arrest.

Earlier this month she had thrown acid over her elder sister and two other relatives. 

 

Rom Klao police had found out that she was hiding in Muang Thong. 

 

Ratchaneeporn, 39, the owner of the fruit shop said that she heard the sound of something heavy landing on her awning. 

 

The body of the woman who had jumped landed on top of a 7-Eleven staffer who was passing at the time though fortunately she was only slightly injured.

Obviously it was the awing that saved her,plus landing on the other person

Let's hope she lives. She may then experience some of the pain she inflicted on others with her acid attacks.

Maybe she is innocent. Or is accusation enough on TVF?

probably couldn't replicate the results in a million jumps, life is certainly mysterious..

She is accused of attacking her sister and 2 other family members.

 

That would have to be one hell of a disfunctional family to make that up.

Although to throw acid at anyone, especially a sibling, shows a high level

of mental instability.

I live in Romkloa and apparently the story is that it was a revenge/grudge attack for incidents that happened 20 odd years ago when her sister was bullying or hitting her as a kid.

Police were around a couple of days ago with a picture as she was caught passing near our place on a video cam at around 3 a.m. that morning.

Well, let’s see.   The police are knocking on my door but I haven’t done anything wrong.  So I guess my only option is to jump out of a 14th floor window.   Give me a break, wake up.

Probably was a wee lass, and the awning was able to break her fall.  If it was a fatty farang, most likely would have killed her & the 7-11 employee below!

Similar to all the 20 or 30 year old sexual assault charges being levied since the start of the #metoo movement!

And how did you gain those 'facts'? If it was from the o/p then the o/p also says "Earlier this month she had thrown acid over her elder sister and two other relatives". Why be selective on choosing what to believe of the op?
