90 day reporting after Visa change

Recommended Posts

Sorry, I did some searches but didn't find this scenario.

I'm currently nearing the end of my 60 day tourist visa and am getting my non o visa from within Thailand (planning to get a retirement extension.) My question is, do I do my 90 day reporting in a month, based on when I entered the country, or does that date change with my new visa?

Thanks!

How near the end of your TV?

You must have at least 15 days permission of stay left to apply for the Non O.

Otherwise apply for a 30 day extension, then the Non O.

A visit to Immigration is regarded as a report.

You won't need to make your first 90 day report until 90 days after your extension is approved.

They should staple a report date of when this is due in the back of your Passport.

Once you obtain your extension and first 90 report date slip, should you exit and re-enter at any point during the validity of your extension (don't forget a re-entry permit), your next 90 day report will be due 89 days after you re-enter, The day of entry counts as day 1.

You are only required to report after 90 consecutive days of staying in Thailand.

I tend to calculate the 90 days on re-entry, cross out any older date on the report slip and change it to the new date as a reminder.
