March 17, 20206 yr Does anybody have any suggestions on a good book which covers fruit and vegetable compatibility? Or have any links to online material? I'm just going around and around in circles here online and not finding anything remotely close to what I want (plus I am being bombarded with ads!!!! Grrrrrr!!!!). Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
March 17, 20206 yr Not sure exactly what you are looking for but a book that was recommended to me by another ThaiVisa contributor, "How to grow more Vegetables, John Jeavons" (ISBN: 978-0-399-57918-9). I have found it to be quite good and most useful in a variety of topics. In terms of compatibility, there are chapters on garden planning and a chapter on companion planting that may answer your questions.
March 17, 20206 yr Author Now in hindsight, I realise that "book" might not be really what I'm looking for - more like a chart, something I could pin to the wall for example.

March 17, 20206 yr Are you talking about companion planting ? If so, here are a few suggestions you may not have seen yet : https://waldenlabs.com/the-ultimate-companion-planting-guide-chart/ https://www.motherearthnews.com/organic-gardening/companion-planting-guide-zmaz81mjzrawf Mother earth news also has a number of hard copy books for sale. https://www.permaculturenews.org/2013/06/20/companion-planting-chart/ Also google for the Old Farmers Almanac. These are rather USA-centric, there is/was something at the ABC Gardening Australia website but I don’t seem to have saved that link. Edited March 17, 20206 yr by MikeN
