Thai media reported that around twenty people who frequent a well-known shrine in Chonburi are being tested for coronavirus. 
 
They were at the boxing event earlier in the month were the presenter and several other people were declared positive.
 
They include people associated with the boxers, boxing fans and people who play Thai chess under the trees by the shrine in Soi Sala Fang Thamma. 
 
Reporters from 77kaoded went there and found it deserted after a deep clean was carried out on Monday.

They talked to a person responsible for keeping the area tidy who said they had been tested themselves and come back negative. 
 
They urged people to come back to the shrine and support the local community.
 
Many netizens were spooked by the news that people from the area were among those that attended the boxing event and might have contracted the virus.
