cms22
Does anyone know if the work permit process for BOI companies has been impacted by Covid-19? Are they being issued as normal or with any additional requirements on applicants? In liaison with my BOI employee, I will be applying for mine soon, just want to prepare. Thank you for any advise. ubonjoe
I assume there would be no changes to get a work permit. I cannot imagine how could affect it unless it got slowed down due to a shortage of personnel.
toper3jr
My colleagues went March 19, To the new location in silom. The small amount of staff were VERY RUDE AND made them sit outside, But with the help of one of our thai staff, it GOT done. So if you go on your own, no guarantees! allane
Not with specific reference to the BOI, but in our province, the Labour Dept. is processing Work Permits as usual. I know three people who had theirs renewed a couple of days ago. The renewal of a Work Permit and extension of the associated Non-Immigrant "B" visa does not require a border crossing.
