Popular Post bamboozled
This is probably already on here but if not> I just returned from Mae Sai. You cannot enter Burma that way at all. Yesterday I arrived and they said, oh, Burma just changed the rule this morning and you now need a visa to enter even just to get a stamp and come back. So I did an e-visa overnight and went back this morning and they said, oh, the border is closed, no one can enter. So that's the news, folks. If you're in need of a stamp, you ain't gettin' it there. I'm on an 0-type visa, by the way. Cheers....
Lacessit
Wow, anyone in CM or CR on visas requiring a border run is in deep doo-doo. 1
bbudd
Ya-and worse is Lao and Malaysia are also closed I understand And with today's new regulation requiring a medical cert. and specific COVID health insurance we couldn't get back in even if we could leave. Pretty much out of options for visa requirements aren't we.

bamboozled
Yes, I am thinking our only option now is to wait until immigration gives us a signal on how to proceed. From the news, they are aware of the situation and have plans to discuss/devise a solution. This is uncharted territory for the world. There is no game plan and everywhere it is step by step into the unknown. We must all cultivate patience and understanding, compassion and good will.
