I note that BBL and Krungsri have suspended exchanging foreign notes for baht and that Super Rich have closed all branches except for 3 (with Rajdamri H/Q still open in central BKK). However I'm looking for a bank still exchanging foreign notes for baht in the Asoke to Phrom Phong area particularly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My emergency solution is to use transferwise.com to send money to a Thai friend's account. Lst time it only took 5min between sending the payment and my friend's Thai bank notifying the receipt of the amount (without fees for him). mark5335 Posted March 24, 2020 Author Share Posted March 24, 2020 I found one that was open between Sukhumvit Soi 18 and Exchange Tower (they exchanged my AUD into THB at 19.2 which isn't too bad in these current circumstances).
