Pattaya shows its heart! Top hotel sends message to everyone battling Covid-19

A leading Pattaya hotel is sending a message of hope to all Thais and medical personnel battling the Covid-19/coronavirus outbreak. 

 

The Grande Centre Point near terminal 21 in north Pattaya is turning on the nights in selected rooms from 7.30 - 8pm to make the shape of a heart. 

 

A highly nationalistic article published by 77kaoded said that Thais do not forget each other in a crisis.

 

Other examples of "nam jai" (kindness) have been the donation of masks to frontline medical staff and the sending of comforting messages, they said.

How about some nam jai from immigration on the 500 baht a day 'over stay' fines ?

I guess you can do that when all the rooms are empty.

They should offer to convert the place into a field hospital.

 

They are turning on the LIGHTS, not the NIGHTS.
