I have a work permit and a multi entry b-visa. I have until 7/5/2020 to leave Thailand.

But the borders might be closed and there might be no flights.

So what are my options if I can not leave?

Do I get the letter from my embassy?

Thank you

As of today you would need a letter from you embassy to get a special 30 day extension.

Thing may change before you need to apply for the extension.

Best though to apply for a one year extension at immigration if your employer and job can qualify for it.

I do not think I can get that extension and I  hear that if you get that letter from the embassy that my b-visa is finnished.

Is that true?

Your visa will still be valid.

Just false info from somebody that does not know what they are talking about.

I'm in almost exactly the same situation, reaching 90 days on the 4th of May.

Currently just following developments here & asking a bit around, but unless some major good news come around before mid-April, I will dig into it all VERY seriously!

Spent a lot of time and some cash to get to this stage, so I will not give up easily - if you want send me a PM so that we can "compare notes" ????

Yesterday and today I tried to call but no answer after 10 minutes on the phone.

So I would like to know if our multi entry b-visa is covert by the amnesty?

Tomorrow I will go to immigration to check.

You do qualify under the ministerial order issued on April 7th.

It has been extended to July 31st. You can stay until that day without doing anything at immigration.

Hi UbonJoe,

I too have a multi non-b (90 day entry stamp expires May 13 - Visa expires later this year in December). Just wondering if I'm also covered by the July 31st amnesty?
