April 5, 20206 yr Popular Post Trump has never hidden his true colors. It has always been an unappealing shade of brown that's related to a very bad odor and floats in a toilet. It was so typical to see him throw his son-in-law under the bus the other day when asked in a press conference about the federal gov't's purchase of millions of masks by young Jared Kushner. He offered no explanation and in an angry manner told the reporter to ask his son-in-law directly about a comment saying the masks were only for federal use and will not go to the various states. The reporter was legitimately trying to get Trump to describe the difference between the federal gov't and the United STATES of America. Of course, the poor woman asking the question was treated rudely and any answer deflected (because as usual, Trump had verbally backed himself into one of those corners where he just ignores the question and starts rambling on about what a wonderful job he's doing). I can only hope that millions of the Americans who put that stinky pile of brown stuff into the White House have finally come to their senses to see what an a-hole he truly is.

You do realize SARS-1 was in 2003, and for all the hoot and holler, one of the few advancements since then was to figure out how and why chloroquine can be effective against these coronaviruses. Before people blame Trump for a lack of clinical trials, SARS was stopped in its tracks and there were no patients to run a trial. Chloroquine research was done in vitro and theoretically. But as usual, Trump has no regard for the constitution where it doesn't serve his needs, and he publicly threatens 3M with "a big price to pay", obviously indicating that they will not be treated in a fair and lawful way unless they do exactly what Trump says. April 5, 20206 yr Popular Post The move by Trump to stop the export of masks from the USA, came after the state of Florida had it's 3M orders delayed, due to foreign-buyers showing up and Paying In Cash to take 3M mask shipments which had been allocated to Florida's orders.
April 5, 20206 yr A US $100 bill is only as good as what it buys, After this is all done & dusted we will find the Almighty $ may not have the value it used too. Trump the man who can take 2 mil US & turn it into1 mil US knows all about that but refuses to learn

Do you know how many lives the US sacrifices each year to traffic accidents, flu season, medical mistakes? The list goes on and on- and it's not jut in the US. So you're against sacrificing lives. I strongly suggest you scratch at least a millimeter below the surface and understand ridiculous your logic is. Oh, it sounds warm and fuzzy. I'll grant you that. A rational person can read what they said and did and observe the results in the infection rates in states and areas where these same Democrats did worse than nothing. They flat out instructed people to endanger themselves. So pardon me if many of us don't take your outrage seriously. Trump has been "in charge", as much as a clueless person with no desire to learn can be in charge, for over three years. The lack of preparedness is on him. South Korea and the US had their first confirmed virus cases at the same time. Compare South Korea's reaction to ours. Please provide sources for your claim that Democrats downplayed the virus danger so we can compare what they said to what Trump was saying about the virus at that time. I'm observing the infection rates in the Republican governed Florida. It doesn't look good. Governor DeSantis, a Trump sycophant, refused to close beaches during spring break. Watch for virus outbreaks everywhere there are universities in the US.

The US will come out of the coroner's office &, one day, out of the Trump incompetence a greatly weakened country, with few reliable alliances left, its rivals somewhat strengthened if only in comparative terms. and little or no 'soft power' left. And all its own doing. This from today's 'Australian' newspaper: "Leadership and inspiration in this crisis have come from countries such as Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea. The coronavirus performance of the superpowers has been unimpressive, while smaller, more agile countries with rational politicians and effective bureaucracies have done better. "Middle powers such as Australia have an interest in supporting international health, security and prosperity. Perhaps in the future we will see more coalitions of the competent."

April 6, 20206 yr Popular Post So many stories written by AP and Reuters that are taken out of context to push a particular narrative. More like showing just a few minutes of the Covington Students supposed 'Confrontation' with US native Americans instead of the whole encounter. We're only going to get the info Reuters wants you to read.
