April 12, 20206 yr Govt rushes to allocate face masks to medical personnel supawadee wangsri BANGKOK(NNT) - The Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) convened a meeting this week of the ad hoc committee on the management of supply for the prevention, control or treatment of Covid-19. PMO Permanent Secretary Theeraphat Prayoonsitthi chaired the meeting which was attended by Commerce Ministry Permanent Secretary Bunyarit Kanlayanamit, as the head of the Product Control Operations Center, COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), along with relevant agencies to consider management of supply for the prevention, control or treatment of Covid-19. The committee discussed the adjustment of the face mask distribution pattern. A total of 1.5 million face masks will be distributed to the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of the Interior per day.
