Si Racha/Chonburi: Heavy rains flood fresh food market

Daily News reported that many people were sharing pictures online after a storm with heavy rains lashed the province of Chonburi on Thailand's eastern seaboard.

Particularly badly hit was the area of the Bo Win fresh food market that was left under water.

Small vehicles were unable to traverse the area and people were told to avoid going there until the water had subsided.

Looks like a big one,as i type i hear thunder,it has been appalingly hot up here,so hoping for some rain, have been working outside this last few weeks in morning late arvo,i now have terrible prickly heat rash.

Meanwhile in Pattaya we've been getting nothing more than a light drizzle off and on. Been watching my neighbour's car. Nearly 2 hours of rain and his hood is still half dry. What little is falling is being absorbed or evaporating before enough accumulates to run off the hood.

Ah good. That might end up in the Nong Kho reservoir that has an East Water pipe connected to it.

More likely to end up stealing the beach out of Pattaya.  Not had any new sand convoys for a few weeks now; the mayor's relatives will be feeling the pinch.
