I'm about to renew my work permit, and I've heard that it's possible to get a work permit valid for more than 2 years.

Does anyone know what is the maximum validity available for renewed work permit? And there are any additional requirements for obtaining it?

I have never heard of more than 2 yrs., though I am not sure about BOI companies.

The maximum validity that a work permit can be issued for is 2 years.

It is dependent on the position you hold with a company & your work description.

I once without even anyone asking got 3 years
