Has anyone any up to date information whether Pattaya based Immigation and Visa agents are open for business? Need one for my next extension, due late May.

They are the one I planned to use, Thank you for the confirmation. 

Are they able to do extensions for Bangkok? My residence is there but I'm in pattaya for several! Months

They can probably arrange an extension there, that would ordinarily be denied. 

 

I would also check the agents on Soi-Bukow just north of S-Pattaya rd - assuming the more affordable agents still work out of that zone.  They used to be ~5K+ less than the big names, and the shop right next to the immigration-office.

I can recommend LR Travel. Very inexpensive at 14 thousand baht. A very helpful lady called "Lucky" runs the place along with an adjacent bar and guesthouse.

If it works, it works.  LOL.  

Pattaya agents are no doubt doing a roaring trade right now. They will want to process your retirement extension at Jomtien. The fact that your permanent residence is in Bangkok will not be an issue, as long as you do not mind being technically resident in Pattaya after the extension has been processed.
