Hi,

I've been on the same Non-Imm-O since '98, renewed annually. Last year was the first time I left and re-entered TH on a re-entry permit.

Question:

When I file the TM7 for visa extension do I use the original entry date (1998) or the latest (Oct.'06)?

The TM6 info will obviously have to be the latest one.

Neither. You look at the expiration date of your current permission to stay and file you application for annual extension of stay 3-4 weeks before this expiration date.

The TM.6 (arrival/departure card) is not connected with your next annual extension, but the 90-cycle for your address report starts afresh with your last entry into Thailand.

I think this is not correct.

Please have a look at TM.7

It requires info:

Arrival by / from / port of arrival / date / arrival card TM.6 no./

My question was which date to use. My original arrival or my latest one. Logic tells me to use the latest one but I just wanted to have it confirmed by somebody.

You’re right, it’s there on TM.7. As Lopburi said: last entry.
