Operators seeking to register new businesses can now do so online, to avoid the risk of Covid-19 transmission.

The “Biz Portal” opened on Monday (April 20), allowing operators to submit their proposals for running a business or to use utilities, said Weerasak Wangsuphakijkosol, Deputy Commerce Minister.

In addition, the Biz Portal enables operators to extend or cancel their business licences.

The system will also provide Thailand with economic information, such as statistics for border trade and imports and exports.

The online portal is the fruit of collaboration between the Commerce Ministry’s Department of Business Development, the Public Sector Development Commission and the Digital Development Government Agency.
