May 14, 20206 yr Where in Pattaya can I buy a cheap one of these. I'm fed up with Motorcycle shops making the tire so hard I bounce all over the road. Or can anyone recommend a shop that uses a gauge.
May 14, 20206 yr I got one of the "stick" type in Tesco. It's not always about absolute accuracy if you use the same gauge every time. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

I constantly have a problem with my little Suzuki step when I go to my local Honda Greenwing garage , they always seem to put about 60 psi in, I think it is them mistaking Kilograms for pounds, they just look at the outer ring of the gauge and thats it. Took my Honda CB to town yesterday for an oil change, and this kid comes out with the air hose, I just told him to pisss off, just change the oil, that's enough of a challenge.

May 14, 20206 yr If you don't have any luck in Big C, there are 2 auto "accessory" kiosks outside (one by the entrance to the car park under the building, the other is to the left of the left entry doors in that car park). They may have some cheap type of tire pressure gauges there. If all else fails - here is a decent one on Lazada. (I have my own air compressor and gauges as my tires are always losing air for some reason.)https://www.lazada.co.th/products/truper-10-120psi-i7678672-s9584810.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.1.55e74346OWJoTQ&search=1

You ( or anyone else ) should only pump up tires to OEM pressure when they are cold ( or as not hot ) as it gets here ( ie first thing in the morning ).
May 14, 20206 yr I bought mine in this big shop or market, behind of Central Marina. https://goo.gl/maps/6U25XRTVMcaB5nHQ9 BTW, has Mr DIY opened again? In Tesco Lotus, Pattaya Nua, it still was closed recently.
May 14, 20206 yr Big-C, Homepro, Tesco, any, look in the car parts section of course. Last time I had to buy one was exactly that reason, just had a new tyre fitted and went to check the pressure and 50psi plus blew the old one apart.
