Iran Supreme Leader says Americans will be expelled from Iraq and Syria

(Reuters) - Americans will be expelled from Iraq and Syria, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday, renewing Iran's demand for U.S. troops to be withdrawn from the Middle East.

 

Iran almost got into a full-blown conflict with the United States when a U.S. drone strike killed top Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad on Jan. 3, prompting Tehran to retaliate with a missile barrage against a U.S. base in Iraq days later.

 

Khamenei said Americans' actions in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria had led to them being hated, according to a transcript of a speech to students published on his website.

 

"The Americans won't stay in Iraq and Syria and will be expelled," Khamenei said.

 

Last month, U.S. President Donald Trump said he had instructed the U.S. Navy to fire on any Iranian ships that harass it at sea, but said later he was not changing the military’s rules of engagement.

 

After Trump's statement, the head of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hossein Salami, said that the Islamic Republic would destroy U.S. warships if its security is threatened in the Gulf.

Without the US army " creating havoc and death" you'd be speaking Farsi now or some other terrorists language or be forced to pray to Allah at the point of a gun...

Not sure I totally agree. I really cannot see the Iranian army invading Western Europe any time soon.

Over it's more than 240 year history, the US has only been at peace for 16 years. That makes it the most warlike nation in the history of the world. So the number of other languages the US has been "Protecting" us from speaking is almost without limit. Doubtless though they were all terrorists, I mean the US would never attack another country, or attempt to subvert another nation's government for financial reasons, or to extend their imperial realm of power, now would they. 

And they could never be accused of wanting to take control of another country's oil?  .....Surely not.  ????

And without that relatively very new country, you'd probably be speaking either German, Russian or Chinese and most certainly wouldn't be commenting freely on social media!

Some might argue, the Muslim fanatics are already there in considerable numbers.... No need to further invade.  Just biding their time, waiting for their virgin consignments to arrive.

Some might take the view that such a ruling would be the best thing the Supreme Leader could do for any Americans unfortunate enough to be stuck in those two countries.

War feeds their #1 industries. US desperately need war to survive. They "bring democracy" by dropping bombs against a bunch of farmers somewhere in the Middle East and take over their valuable resources. Rinse and repeat.

You do realise you are using American technology now?
You do understand that practically everything on the internet, the computers, the web, the chips, the software was either invented or developed in America right?

Without America you would be a serf of whatever dictatorship managed to take over your country and turn your people into slaves. 

 

I recommend you boycott American technology ASAP.
