You seem to not grasp the concept that the party with the president is party who holds power.   That's ok.  Interest in politics is not for everyone.

right Mick you make tons of sense You are not aware of the words you chose

Based on a model? One predicting Trump with 55% of vote just weeks ago?

But maybe your right Earl, yahoo folks did predict Clinton's win.

BUT this was the 15 states representing the swing.
NOT the result of the 15 individual results. SEE how republicans slant!

This seems like Pelosi's largest achievement since the impeachment failed....

Many of us are thankful for the stimulus checks she provided. Even if you were left out.

It's easy to play with statistics e.g. US population density is 94 people per square mile, Italy is 532 per square mile therefore one can assume Italy has a higher per capita death rate from Covid. Additional testing numbers are meaningless as a standalone figure, only when testing rates per million is it useful, plus of course follow up by way of tracking for which the US is currently way behind the eight ball. It is beyond doubt trump's delays is coming to terms to implement necessary policies to combat the spread of Covid and resultant deaths and so on is his ownership. trump's denials do not stand up to scrutiny as has been proven by published time lines and his responses to Covid.

I can't wait to see how many confused and sad reactions this post gets.

Of course you have a point. That said, this makes the case for shutdowns based on specific areas. Personally, I would have had it done at the county level.

I think Pelosi's description of Trump is fair enough, given that his behaviour is that of a schoolyard bully.

Why would you think I was left out? I used it to buy a share of Amazon and a share of Apple. It's up nicely. $2,400 doesn't buy that at today's prices.

$1,200 for me and $1,200 for my husband.

Pelosi was against the stimulus checks, same as Schumer. Republicans got everyone the stimulus checks. Republicans are also looking at stimulus debit cards.

Spin. Pelosi wanted independent oversight of the package spend which was approved. Once passed trump did a U-turn by appointing a sycophant, again demonstrating the corrupt nature of his administration.
