I am type 2 Diabetic, taking med.

Get it monitored every 6 months, doing good.

Last night, woke up sweating and heart racing, was OK after a few minutes.

Any ideas?

Not had drinking for a few months and exercising daily.

Ate any food with MSG. 

Typical symptoms. 

Thais add it all the time.

    If it passed quickly on its own without first taking food then probably  not related to your diabetes.

     

    Could have been a bad dream causing brief panic attack.
