Ninety one year old passenger crushed to death under wheels as he gets off the bus

Tragedy struck on Suksawat Road inbound in Bangkok yesterday after a 91 year old passenger was crushed under the wheels of a bus.

 

Initial investigations indicated that Him, 91, had fallen as the Mahachai to Victory Monument #140 bus pulled away under the expressway at KM 9.

 

The old man died instantly.

 

Ratburana police are investigating.

Most these busses go like mad to pick up and drop off passengers RIP old man

Especially sad that he made it to 91, only to go out like that - and be the topic of a news report expressly designed to shock.

When I die, I want to go like my grandfather, peacefully in his sleep, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in the bus he was driving ????

The contracted bus services in Bangkok are a hazard to the travelling public.

Will it change anytime soon? Yes because the General is investigating kickbacks.

Driver Didn't check his Mirror to see if people cleared the bus /steps before driving off. 

hurry hurry .

Safety first. 

Bus door lockout of drive would help, door open, no go. 

Door closed you may go. 

Autopsy results indicate he died from Covid-19!
