No one has managed to escape the long arm of the coronavirus, but while some are benefitting from the chaos – Jeff Bezos, we're looking at you – the pandemic has been largely detrimental for most, both personally and professionally.

The TV industry is experiencing an unprecedented upheaval, so much so that predicting what the landscape will look like over the next year and a half is immensely challenging.

But that won't stop us from casting our eye over the information that's already out there in an attempt to work out what we'll be getting and when.

"It's surreal," Fear the Walking Dead and Save Me Too star Lennie James told Digital Spy.

Some of it makes no sense.

Although it just ended, take a popular show like Modern Family  They have maybe 10 actors in each show.

Mostly filmed in a house/controlled type setting.

All the support staff does not have to be present.

So, take them and crew to an isolated place for a period of time, test, rip off 10 shows or more in 45 to 60 days easy.

Hollywood are generally a very spoiled group probably not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to get things done.

I thought that the season finale of The Blacklist was well-done. Filming shut down mid epsiode.

On the plus side: writers are free to write, unlike 2007/2008.
