Can you move the money after you got approved (1 year extension) after those 30 days consideration following application, or does it stay in the bank till the first 90 day report & proof of updated bankbook ?

You can do what you want to with the 400k baht after you get your extension stamp done.

Depending on the immigration office, you can spend/move the money during the 30 day consideration. I asked the question directly to the boss at Jomtien when I did my last marriage extension application, (as I had a large bill due and exchange rate had just taken a dive)

Her response "you can spend it all tonight, so long as you buy your wife something". Also asked the guys that did home visit, who said the same.
